Are you interested in participating in an online usability study of the American Board of Ophthalmology’s website? This remote study can be performed online in approximately 10-15 minutes. Your participation will inform and guide the redesign of abop.org by offering insights into how users think about the web content, how they perceive pieces of content to relate to each other, and what labels they use to describe categories of content.
What will I be doing in the study? You will be asked to do an online usability exercise called a card sort. In the card sort study, you will be asked organize a list of items into groups that make sense to you and then create labels or names for the groups of items you’ve organized. Neither the order of the groups or the items within each group matter--we're most interested in which terms you group together. The items consist of terms drawn from pages on the American Board of Ophthalmology’s current website.
How long is a session? The activity should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
