Last year, in partnership with our diplomate community and societies in ophthalmology, we created a new assessment and learning tool for board-certified ophthalmologists that’s helping to transform the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) experience. The Quarterly Questions program not only proved successful in measuring everyday ophthalmic knowledge, it’s helped more than 2,000 diplomates learn something new.
So, what’s next? How do we take a positive experience (99% of participants would recommend this program to a colleague) and make it phenomenal? How can we better tailor the content to the things you see and do every day? How can we help you apply the best practices you read about in your journal articles to your actual practice?
In 2017, more than 250 diplomates joined us around a conference table (sometimes, even a dinner table), to share their experiences and brainstorm ways to make the MOC process better. This year, we’re inviting you to help us take Quarterly Questions to the next level.
If you have ideas or insights to share, we want to meet with you. Beginning in May, we’ll convene small groups of diplomates to explore opportunities for the future design and development of Quarterly Questions. As a user expert, you’ll work with Directors, content contributors, and staff to put your own stamp on board certification. Sign up here and we’ll contact you when there’s an event scheduled near you.
