Join us in Theater 1 to learn more about our newest assessment program and hear from some “early adopters.” Hosted by ABO MOC Chair Andreas K. Lauer, M.D., the discussion will also feature ABO Directors Jane Bailey, M.D., Harold E. Shaw, Jr., M.D., and Bhavna Sheth, M.D.; ABO CEO George Bartley, M.D.; and diplomates Lakshmi Swamy, M.D., and Vikas Chopra, M.D.

Journal Highlights Symposium: Review the Top Articles of the Year

Be sure to stick around through Tuesday morning for a review of the year’s top journal articles in a symposium co-hosted by the ABO and the American Ophthalmological Society. “What You Need to Know from the Past Year’s Literature” begins at 8:30 AM in Room E450.

CME and SACME Opportunities

Attending select sessions of AAO 2018 can help you earn up to 34 CME credits you can apply toward the lifelong learning and self-assessment component of MOC. Of the available meeting CME opportunities, 22 self-assessment (SACME) credits for MOC have been designated for the following activities: 2018 Spotlight on Cataract, four symposia, and sixteen instructional courses. (Please note: the Learning Lounge listed above is not designated for CME). A full list of SACME opportunities is available in the AAO’s mobile meeting guide.
